Organic Arts & Nature Craft Studio

CRAFTY PLACE is a studio celebrating deliberate, slow creation. We focus on the synergy between nature, craftsmanship, and community. Here, raw materials like clay, wild pigments, and seasonal botanicals transform into tangible art that embodies the quiet power of the landscape.

Situated in the heart of the Iskar Gorge, just 25 km from Sofia, the studio itself is a testament to this philosophy—built entirely from natural, sustainable materials.

CRAFTY PLACE is more than a studio; it's a hub where creativity and earth-centered living intersect.

Concept

At CRAFTY PLACE, we work with natural materials to experience that unique sense of closeness to nature and its sometimes fleeting beauty.

This is a slow process where we engage with the senses: the deep grounding of working with clay, the warmth of wood, the scent and color of botanicals, and the shapes that provoke our imagination. Ultimately, we aim for a return to our roots through sustainable art.

Artistic Journey

CRAFTY PLACE was born from a simple wish — to create a space where people can step away from the rhythm of the city, touch nature, and make something with their hands. A place where creativity is calm, authentic, and inspired by the earth.

Tsveti

I’m Tsveti, an artist working with natural materials.

My practice grew from watercolor into clay, plant-based pigments, minerals, and ceramic musical instruments. Each medium led naturally to the next, guided by curiosity and direct contact with the material.

I work slowly and by hand. Plants, earth, and minerals are not just resources but collaborators that shape the process. The material determines the rhythm, not the other way around.

This way of working led to Crafty Place — a quiet studio and creative space for people interested in organic arts. Here we host workshops, invite guest artists, and create space for learning through making, observing, and experimenting.
