About the event
The masterclass is focused on two alternative firing techniques:
pit firing (in a ground pit) and barrel firing (in a metal drum).
We will work with natural materials – ash, organic elements, and metal – and explore how fire affects the ceramic surface.
PROGRAM
Day 1 – Materials and Preparation
Introduction and surface preparation. Working with ash, copper wire, leaves, and other natural materials.
